What is iREM and how does it work?

Do I need to wear anything or change my routine?
No! That's the beauty of iREM. The sensors are installed under your mattress and work automatically. There are no wearables to remember, no cameras watching you, and no changes to your daily routine. Just sleep normally and the system monitors you silently in the background.
How quickly will I be alerted if something happens?
Alerts are sent in real-time, typically within seconds of an event occurring. When someone gets out of bed unexpectedly, has irregular vital signs, or doesn't return to bed, the system immediately sends notifications to family members or care staff via the web dashboard and mobile app.

Will the sensors be uncomfortable?

How accurate is the heart rate and breathing detection?
Our piezoelectric sensors are highly sensitive and provide accurate readings when the person is relatively still (e.g., sleeping). While not intended to replace medical-grade monitoring equipment, iREM provides reliable trend data that can alert you to significant changes that may require attention.
What happens if someone falls next to the bed?
While iREM cannot directly detect falls that occur away from the bed, it can alert you when someone has been out of bed for an extended period, which may indicate a fall has occurred. This allows for quick response even if the person is unable to call for help.
